Chattering Flying Squirrels - Baseball, Canoeing, and Casino Night

The day began at 9:00 a.m. with our usual delicious breakfast. Students then attended two lessons, followed by a wonderful lunch of Asian Style noodles, chicken fillets, and vegetables at the Happy Hut.After completing our final class of the day, we made our way to the Calgary Canoe Club located on the Glenmore Reservoir where students were divided into two groups. Both groups had a few hours to learn how to canoe and play baseball. We couldn't have asked for better weather! On our way home we stopped in at Northhill mall for dinner at Vanillas.We returned to SAIT around 7:30 p.m. where students attended a Casino night that featured poker, black jack, bingo, foosball, and roullette. Each student was provided with monopoly money and snacks, and quite a few people had a lucky streak for the duration of the evening. Students then participated in an auction where they were able to bid on different Canadian memorabilia. Prizes inlcuded a Canada magnet, a Canada foot-ball cushion, a Canada umbrella, and a Canada T-shirt. Students were encouraged to head to bed early as they have yet another fun filled day planned for tomorrow. Bring on the adventure![AFG_gallery id='473']
