Chattering Wapiti - July 8, 2015 - Stampedin'!

Yee-haw! Today we spent the day at “The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth” – The Calgary Stampede. The weather was perfect for the occasion! We rode roller coasters, Ferris wheels, twisters, cable cars, and enjoyed the games, food and festivities on the midway. On the drive home, the bus was filled with the countless stuffed and inflatable prizes the students won.On the way home, the students stopped at the grocery store and we picked up ingredients for a home-cooked meal. Together, the students and teachers prepared roast chicken,  fried rice, fajitas, pasta, and salads. The evening ended with dessert, games, and stories shared between friends.[AFG_gallery id='254']
