Chuckling Bison - July 16 2015 - Movies + Movin on Up

Comfort in routine: we woke up with our breakfast groups, chatting and getting ready for the day. Then we proceeded to our lessons, in which the students learned advanced vocabulary for how they're feeling; participated in the "Walk in the Woods" psychology test; and discussed the differences between the schools in their home countries. Informative AND interesting!Lunch was a catered meal of pulled pork, vegetables, and a green salad, enjoyed in another building on campus. This allowed us to see how SAIT students live and use their university and get another glimpse of Canadian culture.

Then we packed and moved into our new apartments, in our official home: the Sixth Floor! And naturally, we made sure our old digs were spotless before we vacated them, to be courteous to their next inhabitants.
To reward ourselves for doing such a good job, we took the C-Train through downtown Calgary - sightseeing, of a sort - and walked around the Southcentre Mall, noshing on Mediterranean and Louisiana cuisine for dinner. Then we all enjoyed a movie at a local cinema - Furious 7, Cinderella, and Home - thereby practicing our listening comprehension in English while simultaneously relaxing!
Perfect day. And the Student of the Day was awarded to Allen, for being so kind to another student who is unfortunately on crutches! Congrats Allen, and thank you for being such a stand-up guy.
Until tomorrow!
