Growling Grizzlies - July 15 2015 - West Edmonton Mall Shopping

Holy Toledo! Or should we say "Cowabunga"?Today we visited the largest shopping mall in North America, the West Edmonton Mall. It is so big it has a hotel, amusement park, skating rink, casino, and almost every shop in Canada. But most importantly for a group of our students was the massive waterslide park with loop-de-loop slides and 40-foot drops. Free drinks sweetened the deal!Most of the students spent their time shopping, visiting stores across the mall's two floors and large wings, working on their use of currency they taught in Adam's lesson a few days ago. What other country in the world would call their one dollar coin a "loonie", and the two dollar coin a "toonie"? We came back excited for the next day of adventures and preparing for our upcoming camping trip![AFG_gallery id='283']
