The road trip adventure started early in the morning when after a heartfelt goodbye with their classmates, they set out on their trek. The students traveled for some time before reaching their first of many destinations, white water rafting. This activity was new for almost everyone as they nervously climbed into their rafts. This nervousness quickly dissipated as the thrilling ride commenced. The exciting trip down the river was filled with laughter as everyone rode the rapids and paddled hard. After a hard earned lunch the students mounted into the bus again to head towards Peachland. After some stops for ice cream and also for a quick walk through the forest the students arrived at the campsite. Once they all had pitched their tents and cooked a meal all together, everyone snuggled into their sleeping bags, eager to start their next day. After an easygoing morning altogether, everyone took turns going on the boat to try his or her hand at tubing. This activity got everybody’s heart racing as they flew over the waves at high level speeds until Josh’s skillful driving sent them into the lake. While they weren’t on the boat students got to play on the beach and enjoy a barbeque waterside. That evening everyone gathered around the campfire for s’mores and to share stories with one another.  The next day was on of travel as the students stopped in many different towns and cities as they drove throughout B.C. Here they got to experience sights such as the mountain ranges and great scenery the surrounded them as they drove. That day they said goodbye to some students in Vancouver before everybody else continued on to Whistler. Breakfast was shared with everyone the next morning before a long day on the mountains. All the students and teachers piled into the Blackcomb gondola to head up to the top. Here they enjoyed a view like no other, as they could see nature in its finest state.  Following their time hiking and exploring they all enjoyed a warm meal as a group before heading back to the hotel to swim in the pool. Next they all enjoyed some handcrafted pizzas prepared by Maggie and Mike, even the Italians were impressed with the finesse. They may have even uttered the words “this is better than mama’s pizza.” The next day students enjoyed a leisurely breakfast of pancakes crafted with love by Addy. This meal prepared them for a day in Whistler, in the morning students enjoyed free time where they explored the sensational village. The students enjoyed a time of shopping and sight seeing until it was time to go zip lining. Zip lining was am exhilarating experience to behold. Students rode up the mountain before the strapped into their harness so they could zoom down the mountain at lightening speeds. Everyone adored the thrill the zip line provided and the sights it let them enjoy. Afterwards everyone delighted in a meal together and one final night in the pool before starting to pack up their things for tomorrow. The following morning students quickly ate breakfast and finished packing up their things before climbing onto the bus for their final leg of the road trip. They all got to participate in one final round of singing and laughing as they drove down to Vancouver to conclude their trip. In Vancouver they were warmly greeted with open arms by Adam who was ready guide them on the adventure of a lifetime for the next ten days. [AFG_gallery id='503']
