Brooding Whooping Cranes - Kayaking, Football, and Rollerskating - July 29, 2016

Like any other day at Wynchemna, today started off with the smell of eggs, bacon, fruits and waffles that the teachers had prepared. As the sun went high for a hot but beautiful day, parents and kids loaded the bus where we got a big party going on with good music and everyone was singing along. This really is a family camp !Thanks to the beautiful weather, the students fully enjoyed their time on the water kayaking. Laughter and fun were at the rendez-vous on the beautiful water with Wynchemna’s favourite instructor Ben.From kayaking, we went to the park to enjoy canadian football under the coaching of Dustin where everyone showed unexpected skills during that hour. Before heading for a delicious meal at Denny’s, we took some group shots in front of the Glenmore Reservoir to seal memories in beautiful pictures.After dinner, we went to Lloyds Recreation to enjoy rollerskating. For the first timers, it was an hour and half full of perseverance as they fell but always got back up on their skates. Sky is the limit for the Whooping Cranes!At the end of the day, we got on the bus to return back to SAIT for a well-deserved night of sleep, feeling blessed with smiles still on our faces as we closed our eyes to drift off to our dreams.[AFG_gallery id='501']
