Galloping Western Mustangs - July 25, 2017 - Dinosaur Day!
Today we sped through our early breakfast so that we could start our lessons. After a morning of treasure hunts and tongue twisters, we headed off for lunch at the nearby SAIT foodcourt. Then, we loaded up the bus and drove off to Horseshoe Canyon. The area is known for its extraordinary landscape and fun little pathways through the canyon. We spent a couple of hours climbing and exploring, after which we got back on the bus and went to the city of Drumheller. There, we visited the Royal Tyrell Museum and looked at all the dinosaur fossils in the galleries. After all this excitement, we enjoyed a delicious barbecue with all the trimmings and played some volleyball and soccer. We got to splash in the water a little bit too. At the end of the evening, we loaded the bus back up, and drove back to Calgary.[AFG_gallery id='663']
