Growling Grizzlies and Howling Wolves - July 4 2015 - Exciting Arrivals

For most, Saturday means a day of catching up with sleep. At Wynchemna, Saturday brings another round of sleep-deprived yet excited students from all over the world. In true Calgarian style, the students took a photo with the Stampede ‘Howdy’ sign. After that, it was straight to SAIT (our residence) to get checked in to their rooms and sign the quintessential ‘Quarter Contract’.At Wynchemna, we believe the best way to deal with jetlag is to keep being active. All day, students got to mingle with each other over indoor and outdoor games. Nothing makes friends faster than a quick game of soccer! Some of our new friends also went to a nearby mall to grab some pasta and pizza for lunch.The evening was prime opportunity for the newcomers to interact with previous students. We played mingling games like ‘Toaster!’ and ‘Rabbit, Moose, Elephant’. The games were as fun and ridiculous as they sound!
