Growling Grizzlies - July 5 2015 - Fun Fun Fun

What does Sunday rhyme with? Fun! After their first sleep and breakfast with new friends, the Grizzlies got on the bus ready for a day full of activities! First on the agenda, was a mix of ice skating and badminton. For many, this was their first time on the ice. The more experienced Grizzlies helped the newbies stay on their feet. After surveying our 36 students, the average number of falls was under 5. BRAVO! Nothing soothes you better from your falls than a game of badminton!The activities certainly worked up an appetite. Fear not, we had a delicious picnic under the Calgary sun. At Wynchemna, we are always moving onto something new. Next up, the Grizzlies dove into the Wavepool. The next couple of hours had some going down the slides in groups while the rest relaxed in the hot tub.Following the fun times, the Grizzlies returned to SAIT to buckle down for their English placement tests. All that hard work was rewarded with a delicious dinner at Swiss Chalet. The ride back was full of chatter as the Grizzlies reminisced about their exciting first day.Tomorrow, the lessons begin.
