Growling Polar Bears - February 1 - Hiking Troll Falls

Our morning began with a delicious breakfast, cooked by master chef Debby. We then learned about how a story is written and got to listen to a story by the famous Canadian storyteller Stuart McLean. This was great practice learning new vocabulary and practicing listening to Canadian English. After lessons we packed up the van and headed to Kananaskis to go hiking at Troll Falls. What an amazing winter paradise! We climbed all over the ice and the frozen waterfall, slipping and sliding until the sun went down. As the day turned to night we walked through the quiet, snowy forest back to the van and drove to what is to be our home for the next six days, Canmore, Alberta. Dinner was delicious and we had fun hanging out and exploring our new home. What a day!
