Growling Polar Bears - January 31, 2018 - Snowboarding!

Today we started our day with English lessons. We noticed the snow falling outside and learned that the chinook we had been experiencing for two days was over, it was now -18°C! Of course we weren’t going to let the cold stop us from learning to snowboard at Canada Olympic Park. Our snowboard instructor Joa taught us everything we needed to know to have a blast and look great doing it. After snowboarding we went out for Italian food for dinner. With full bellies and happy hearts we headed back home to do some work on our scrapbooks before heading to bed. Learning to snowboard is fun but it sure is tiring!
