Hissing Prairie Rattlesnakes - Golfing, Climbing, Casino Night - July 19th, 2016

We had an amazing day today, which started off with a delicious breakfast followed by creative lessons. Conversation sparked as the kids were given a preview of the dinosaur exhibit they are going to see tomorrow in Drumheller. After lunch, the students embarked on journeys to golf and rock-climbing. English teacher Britt coached the students in a wonderful golf lesson at a driving range. Natalia, Honza, Ryodai, and Solene won the Wynchemna driving golf tournament! Next, they went to the Stronghold climbing gym. This was the second time that the students visited the climbing gym, and the students had more time to explore the different walls and take on the more challenging holds. Claudia and Alex, two experienced rock climbers did an amazing job scaling the toughest walls. We went to Boston Pizza for dinner and had delicious pasta dishes.When we got back, we had a super fun time at casino night where we played games such as blackjack, roullette, bingo, and uno. We won and traded Wynchemna paper money to use for the auction at the end of the night. We had some cool prizes like a T-shirt and playing cards. The students were very excited and took a lot of pictures together.
