This magnificent day started out with a Stampede breakfast at the Southland Leisure center where the students adored the pancakes and eggs. There the kids also enjoyed in depth conversations with many Canadians and danced their hearts out to country music. As the group mingled with each other and many other citizens they strengthened their English skills and their relationships. The students then jumped right into lessons and were just as eager to learn as the first day they arrived. Lessons flew by as the teachers and students went to play hockey at the SAIT arena. The puck dropped and the students were thrown into a game of hockey! As a very Canadian sport, the students learned more about our culture and enjoyed sharing it with their fellow students. After hockey the group stopped off and took photos together, dazzling smiles were seen everywhere! Dinner at Swiss Chalet was incredible as the students ate amazing food while conversing with people from other continents.Late night lessons and a late night dance party was in store for this group of students. The students loved interacting with their peers and dancing was great! The kids will sleep soundly from this exciting and fun filled day, and are ready for what tomorrow will bring![AFG_gallery id='434']
