Humming Owls - July 13, 2014

Today we got to know each other more by experiencing each others cultural food!!We started to day off with Brunch which was tasty as usual, followed by our lessons which were really fun, and tested our logic skills. After lessons we collected our sleeping gear for camping and then went for lunch at the mall.After lunch we split into our cooking groups, we had six cooking groups because there are six nationalities at the Wynchemna camp! The cooking was a great way to teach each other about our nationalities, so we had two cooks from the same country teach people from other nationalities the cooking techniques unique to their country. Thus each cooking group was a mixture of nationalities working together.We went grocery shopping for supplies and then returned to SAIT where our master chef kitchens awaited us! We put a great amount of effort into our meal preparations and even made posters with our flags and entrees on them. We then presented our food to each other and dug in to some good eats!After our International supper, we showcased our musical talents with some Karaoke.A good day at Wynchemna indeed. [AFG_gallery id='154']
