Today was the day the kids had been waiting for: all day shopping at West Edmonton Mall! After an early breakfast of homemade pancakes, waffles, eggs, bacon, and lots and lots of fruit, the party bus was loaded. Forty six students and six teachers headed out with jittery excitement to Alberta's capital city (Edmonton). The three and a half hour bus ride was worth it when the students saw the mall in all its glory. Standing forty eight city blocks in size, housing the world's largest indoor amusement park, lake, and wave pool, the mall was a sight to behold. The students entered the mall and made their way to the cafeteria where their stomachs were filled with the classic Canadian burger. Once the final fry had been eaten, the students got to choose between shopping, swimming, or both. Teacher and student alike split up to pursue their wants and desires wandering in and out of West Edmonton's eight hundred stores and services. As their time came to an end, the students piled back onto the party bus loaded with all their new purchased treasures. The students did not travel long until they reached Laurier Park, where they enjoyed a delicious dinner of sushi and pork buns.Tired from a long day, the students slept through the bus ride home to be wakened as we returned to SAIT. Scurrying off to bed, the students slowly disappeared into their rooms. And so another adventure ends...to be continued.[AFG_gallery id='447']https://www.flickr.com/photos/78673003@N07/28280239361/in/dateposted-public/https://www.flickr.com/photos/78673003@N07/28358882355/in/album-72157671070897796/
