July 31st, 2016 - Shopping, skating and camping preparation - PARENTS BLOG

Today is a happy day for parents because they finally can go shopping. After breakfast, parents went shopping by train. It took us around 30 minutes to arrive at Chinook Mall. We had 2 hours to shop, Sandy and King missed the time we met together because they were enjoying shopping.After we came back to SAIT, and only had around 10 minutes for a simple lunch. Then we went to the Olympic Oval for ice skating. It's my first time to see real ice skating. All of us enjoyed skating, and I can skate for 20 meters without any support. I succeeded finally.With the happiness of skating, we came back to SAIT to learn how to prepare for camping. The teachers taught us how to build a tent, and how we can avoid the cold air to allow for good sleeping. Emily worked hard until all the tents were collected. We finally separated into 3 groups, Anny and I were in one group called the Beavers.
