Yelping Red Foxes - International Supper, Karaoke - July 30th, 2016

Today was a great, but very busy day. After breakfast and lessons in the morning, we had a delicious catered lunch in our SAIT residence. Today, we were doing our international dinner activity. The night before, the students came up with 1-3 recipes from each of their home countries. The students were placed into random groups and had to help cook a meal under the direction of the head chef from each country. It was a busy afternoon. We walked to the grocery store to buy our ingredients, and cooked for more than two hours! It was worth the effort, the food was delicious! We had meals from China, Italy, Germany, France, Mexico, Poland/Czech Republic, Spain, and Quebec of Canada. Great job to the students for their hard work today!After dinner and clean-up, we went to the recreation/games room in the basement of the residence to have a karaoke party! We sang many popular English songs and danced to the music. When we got back upstairs to our floor, we had a quick birthday celebration for our student Miguel of Spain.
