Paddling River Otters - July 20th, 2018 - Baseball, Canoeing and Loose Moose
As usual, the day started with a breakfast full of eggs, bacon, fruit, waffles and toast. Then we gathered in our classes to finish up the articles about our Canadian adventures. Once the articles were top notch, we walked over to the computer lab and created our newspaper. With the masterful help of the teachers, the newspaper looked amazing in no time. Everyone contributed to writing down the memories that we will cherish for a long time. After lunch we boarded the school bus and took of for an afternoon of sports. One group learned how to play baseball. For some of us it was the first time while others are baseball veterans. It was a fun experience. The other group, paired up and got into canoes. We went for a paddle around the Glenbow Reservoir. Through communication between the canoe partners, it was a great success. After a few hours the groups swapped. After such an active afternoon, we filled ourselves with delicious Denny's food and took off for Loose Moose. Loose Moose is an improv theatre show where the actors have nothing prepared as they go on stage and they make up the act as they play. The actors evoked all kinds of emotions. Then, it was time for bed. Turns out tomorrow we get a well deserved sleep in time. How exciting!![AFG_gallery id='786']
