Paddling River Otters – July 2nd, 2018 – Movies

We woke up this morning bright-eyed and bushy-tailed! The students displayed their culinary skills by making some excellent bacon and eggs. Then we hit the books! Three interactive lessons flew by as students participated in lessons. Next, we ate lunch – fried chicken, rice, quiche, assorted veggies and a lovely display of fruit. The students particularly liked the strawberry and lemon cake. Then, we scuttled out the door to the movie theatre. Some of us watched Ready Player One and others went to see Isle of Dogs. Students were impressed that in Canadian movie theatres you can sit wherever you want to. After the movies, we carried on to a supper at the classic Canadian restaurant Denny’s. We ended off the day by tidying our rooms and apartments while relaxing and listening to music (with a few impromptu dance parties). Lovely way to end the long weekend![AFG_gallery id='752']
