Piping Woodpeckers - July 15, 2014

Another beautiful summer day in Calgary today, with us all waking up to the sounds of the magpies. Today was a classic summer day at Wynchemna, morning with freshly cooked banana bread (by our teacher Gesthika) followed by our morning classes and a great taco lunch. After lunch we went bowling, but we played a Canadian variant using only 5 pins and a smaller ball. It was great fun and part of our games were done in the semi-dark with laser lights and disco balls. After bowling, we went to a real cool swimming pool where our group rode water slides, jumped off the diving board and swam in a big wave pool. All of us had a riot, who knew learning English could so fun! By the time we finished our pasta dinner, we were all pretty exhausted from the day. Bedtime came early.[AFG_gallery id='164']
