Humming Owls - July 15, 2014

Students are really enjoying the routine of breakfast and lessons, and learning lots about English and other cultures as they converse over orange juice, bacon and waffles. After all that jazz, we had a delicious Taco Tuesday lunch with soft and hard shell tacos, chili, salad and icy water. Next we split into our groups and took turns in the field playing soccer, Canadian football, Ultimate Frisbee, playing tag on the playground. We also had an amazing time kayaking at the Bow Waters Canoe Club, paddling down the river and having water fights on the turbulent waves! We came back to a supper of Tim Horton’s sandwiches and apple juice with world famous Timmy donuts for dessert! After that, we got into our tent groups and got our group spirit up, making posters, graphic stenciled t-shirts and a hilarious song and dance!! Then we packed our bags in preparation for tomorrow, when we will head off for camping! We can’t wait to get out into the woods! [AFG_gallery id='163']
