We started our day with a hearty breakfast and powered through three English lessons in a row! Our lessons had many interactive exercises and creative projects from drawing a Canadian province brochure to planning a vacation that showcases our diverse countries of origin.

After lunch, we prepared for a busy day of sports ahead. First sport was indoor soccer at the campus recreation centre. We split into 4 teams and played against each team in a Round Robin tournament. It was great playing with different people in several short, fun-filled games! Second activity was rock climbing! It was the first time for many of us; we learned how to put on a harness and work together in pairs to safely allow our partners to climb up and lower down (or "belay" as it was called). Although some of us were quite outside our comfort zone being off the ground, everyone still attempted the vertical climb so 'kudos' to all.

We had supper at a mall just before our final sport of the day - beach volleyball. Playing on sand proved to be harder than wooden floors, but double the summer fun! Good teamwork keeping the ball up and a fantastic activity to end the day! We all returned to SAIT exhausted and ready to sleep like babies...
