Piping Woodpeckers - July 24, 2014

Today was one of the most favourite days for every student at Wynchemna; Movie at the Mall Day!!  That is right, we got to all go shopping AND watch a movie at Calgary's biggest shopping centre, Chinook Centre.  First we had our classes as usual and then lunch here at SAIT before we moved on to the mall.  We each got to choose between a few of the big summer blockbusters for a movie choice; Dawn of the Planet of the Apes was a big draw.  For some of us, it was hard to watch an entire movie in English, but if there was anything we didn't quite catch, we had loads of friends with us we could ask!After the movie, we had free reign of the mall.  Chinook Centre is pretty large and there was lots to see... and buy! As sadly summer is close to its waning days, there were plenty of bargains to be had; most of us bought summer clothing (it is still quite hot in Calgary most days) and gifts for our friends and family.  Lego was another popular item, as the mall has a large Lego store. It was fun to have a relaxed day with our new friends and window shop in Calgary.  Combine that with a movie and a dinner, and it was another great summer day![AFG_gallery id='183']
