Today was a great day! After a nutritions breakfast we engaged in three hours of lessons, learning about Astrology, reading facial expressions and working our right brain by doing some creative activities. We then walked to North Hill Mall for lunch and had pizza, pasta and salad. Once we were full we went to our local shopping centre to buy groceries for our International Supper!! We had six groups: France, Czech/Germany, Taiwan, Japan, Denmark and Canada. For each country we had  chef of that nation teach students from different nationalities their foodie ways. Thus each cooking group was a mixture of nations working together.Once we made it back to SAIT we went to work, putting on our chef hats to create culinary masterpieces! We also made posters that had each countries’ flag and a list of the food that each country made. Team France made Crepes and Tarte Tatin, Team Czech/Germany made both salty and sweet Strudels; Team Taiwan made Fried Noodles and Fried Cabbage. Team Japan made Sushi, Karaage, Rice Balls and Miso Soup; Team Denmark made Chocolate Cake; and Team Canada made Quinoa salad and Nanaimo bars. Each group presented their food… and it was a hit! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the food. We then cleaned up and had some down time. We look forward to the adventures that Wynchemna brings tomorrow.[AFG_gallery id='192']
