Piping Woodpeckers - July 28, 2014

Today was an action packed day!After a nutritious breakfast and intriguing lessons, we packed up and hopped on the school bus to the Calgary canoe club. There we learned how to manoeuvre a canoe. We learned six techniques in how to handle a canoe which we mastered in no time. After some fun in the Glenmore Reservoir. We pulled out the frisbees and footballs and played some games in the park that was next to the canoe club. We soaked up the summer rays and played Ultimate frisbee and Canadian football.We then went to refuel at Dennys where we feasted on burgers, sandwiches and pancakes.Once we were full, we went to Lloyds Recreation: a roller skating rink that plays awesome music as you show your stuff! We had tons of fun, a great way to end the day.Tomorrow we look forward to Kayaking. [AFG_gallery id='193']
