Roaring Coyotes - August 7-8 - Last Day & Goodbyes

It’s hard to believe, but our time together has come to an end. Those 3 weeks flew by incredibly fast, and it’s amazing to see how close everyone got to each other during our time at Wynchemna.Friday was our last full day together, and we enjoyed a breakfast at Denny’s before having our last set of lessons. We wrote each other ‘warm-fuzzies’ which are sweet little notes to everyone else, to remember each other always. After lessons we did tent checks and packed them away, followed by lunch. The students then had time to pack and clean up their belongings.In the evening we had an award ceremony where all the students got an award and pictures to commemorate their participation in this program. This was followed by a slideshow of many of the pictures capturing the highlights of our time together at activities. Then we dressed up and went to a restaurant to enjoy a delicious steak dinner for our last meal together.Upon returning to the residence, we headed straight to a dance party where the students danced the night away and let loose for their last night. Many students stayed up until the wee hours of the morning chatting and spending every last possible minute together.The next morning brought tears from all as we said goodbye in waves to our now-close friends.
