Roaring Coyotes – July 28, 2015 – Kayaking, Baseball, and Skating

Today the Roaring Coyotes took to the water and the baseball field for a sporty afternoon after lunch and our morning lessons.We went kayaking in the Calgary Reservoir, where we paddled, splashed and played some fun games on the water.  Everyone got a little more wet than expected but it was a gorgeous day so we didn't mind.Baseball was lots of fun. We took turns practicing our skills by hitting and throwing the ball. Then we split into teams and played a lively game.After running the bases we hopped on the bus and drove to Boston Pizza for a pasta dinner.Then we headed to go ice skating on the fastest ice in the world at the Olympic Oval at the University of Calgary.  There we met members of the Chinese National Speed Skating Team who were training.All in all, a great and active day for the Roaring Coyotes![AFG_gallery id='329']
