Singing Water Loons - 28 July 2017 - The Migrating Water Loons
Loons usually migrate south, but today the Singing Water Loons migrated north from Calgary to Edmonton. After a quick and early breakfast, our Loons leapt onto the bus for the long journey. Bus buddies become even closer, resting together to ready themselves for the amazing arcades filled and spectacular slides at West Edmonton Mall. After a pit stop in Red Deer, our Loons arrived in the early afternoon. A lunch at Harvey's, a Canadian classic, fuelled our students for the day. When lunch ended, our Loons ran off in their rafts, into North America's largest shopping mall. The most adventurous Loons went West Edmonton's the Water Park, and us teachers think that raft had the best time! After meeting in the early evening, we jumped back onto the bus to travel home. Alberta's big sky gave us a beautiful landscape home, and another pit stop in Red Deer delivered another delicious dinner. Another beautiful day in Alberta, from Calgary to Edmonton and back again![AFG_gallery id='680']
