Singing Water Loons - July 15th 2017 - Rawson Lake and Pizza Night

Today was an exhausting but exciting day for the Singing Water Loons. They started off their day with breakfast at 10 o'clock. They had waffles with maple syrup, eggs and bacon, yogurt, and lots of yummy fruit. After breakfast, they quickly got prepared and packed their backpacks for their hike to Rawson Lake. They sang songs and played games during the two-hour bus ride through the beautiful Kananaskis mountains.Once they got there, the Loons were ready to stretch their legs and make their way to the breath-taking Rawson Lake. We stopped at the lake to take some pictures and eat lunch. We had sandwiches, apple juice, fruit, brownies and chocolate chip cookies. Some brave Loons went for a refreshing swim in the cold lake. The rest, on land - still covered in Canada's white gold, snow! - found another exciting activity: SNOWBALL FIGHT!!!After descending the mountain, taking in the view once more, we returned to SAIT with supper ready on the table. The Loons devoured their pizza dinner while chatting about their adventure in the mountains.What a great day![AFG_gallery id='618']
