Today was an exciting second day for the Singing Water Loons! We started off the day with a big and hearty breakfast in our breakfast groups. All the campers helped cook scrambled eggs and bacon. We also had lots of fruit: strawberries, grapes, oranges, apples and bananas. After everyone did the dishes and cleaned up, we headed to the Heart Building on campus for the placement test. Some of the Loons were a bit nervous but they all did a great job! After the test, we headed back to SAIT for lunch at Happy Hut. We had noodles with beef and veggies, and lots of delicious appetizers. After a game of Bingo to get to know each other better, we walked to a nearby park to play basketball and two new games called Grounders and Stella Ella Ola. Right after that, we went straight to play Canada’s favourite sport: hockey! The Loons put on their helmets, grabbed a hockey stick and got on the ice.On our way to the mall for dinner, we stopped to take some photos of the Calgary skyline. Dinner was yummy! We had pasta and salad from Vanelli’s. We then walked back to SAIT and played board games in our apartments before heading to bed to get a good night’s rest to prepare another adventure-filled day at Wynchemna![AFG_gallery id='610']
