Stampede Breakfast; Yeehaw! - July 13

Today was a lovely day for the Monarchs!We started off our day with a Stampede Pancake Breakfast; a western Canadian tradition. We went to Olympic Plaza in downtown Calgary where there was entertainment and pancakes and bacon galore! While we ate we listened to fiddlers, watched some games, sung along to country music and even became honorary Calgarians in a little ceremony! After breakfast we wandered downtown on Stephen Ave. and saw some more Stampede festivities like line dancing and horses.We headed back to campus for lunch and lessons. In the evening we did some laundry and tidying up before heading out to Market Mall for dinner and a little shopping.[AFG_gallery id='608']
