Soaring Horned Owls - August 1st - Ikea Movie and Canyon Meadows!

Today was a big day for the Owls at Wynchemna. We blasted through our lessons and ate a delicious lunch of chicken, salad, veggies, rice, noodles and more! After our tummies were full, we jumped right into our dress rehearsals. We made our costumes and props and practiced until we had it down pat.After rehearsals, we headed to IKEA where we snuck in and picked out our stages to perform. We began by picking out the bathroom, living room and office areas for our big screen debut and then began filming. While we were acting, our friends were on guard to keep our set secure and secret from the people and workers of IKEA. To our surprise, we sometimes gained an audience and were found by the IKEA security... however, they thought our movie idea was cool and let us finish before ending filming.Happily wrapping up our filming, we ate a delicious dinner at IKEA. We got to choose between ribs, IKEA's famous Swedish meatballs, butter chicken, fish and chips and more. We had so many choices it was hard to choose but we were all happy because everything was so scrumptious.Following dinner, we hopped back on the bus and headed to Canyon Meadows Cinema where we watched the latest Avengers and Star Wars movies. Our teachers got us endless popcorn and we chomped away engrossed in our films.
