Soaring Horned Owls - July 31st - Shakers and Rehearsal!

What a fun-filled day at Wynchemna!Today we had a delicious breakfast and then headed out on the bus to SHAKERS! a family fun centre in Calgary. When we arrived, we started our Shakers! adventure by lining up to race one another in Go Karting. For many of us, this was our first time go karting and we loved it! Speeding around the track, we tried our best to pass each other without running into the sides or smashing into our friends' karts. We then headed inside to try our luck at lazer tag. Splitting up into teams, we hid in the blacklight room, hiding behind our obstacles and running around trying to cream our opponents. After lazer tag, we headed back outside into the beautiful sunny day for pizza. With full bellies, we took on rock climbing, bowling, arcade games, mini golf and much more. This place has everything!After Shakers! we came back for lessons where we learned new things in a fun way. Our teachers always make our lessons interesting and the time flies by! Dinner tonight was at our new favorite restaurant Boston Pizza where we ate a delicious Rose Penne Pasta with toasted garlic bread. After dinner was spent rehearsing lines, blocking our movie and getting ready for filming tomorrow! To our surprise, our night ended with our new teacher Bacon bringing us delicious homemade cupcakes. Yum![AFG_gallery id='826']
