Stomping Striped Porcupines- July 28, 2018 – The Biggest Mall in the World... in 2004

Today we woke up extra early, excited to make an early start on our trip to the world famous West Edmonton Mall, the biggest mall in the world... in 2004. And after a nutritious breakfast of course.Our bus ride was a long one. But a fun one, with many games, singing, dancing and a bit of napping. When the mall finally came into view everyone became very excited and couldn’t wait to get off the bus. The mall was enormous having many amazing sights like a giant water park, and full scale pirate ship, an amusement park and more!After a filling lunch at the food court which featured Harvey's burger and fries we got to do some shopping and swimming. The shopping was a day of good deals and taking in the splendour of the mall all our favourite stores. For those that went for a swim it was a fun filled afternoon of hanging out on the beach, flying down water slides, and riding the waves.As we gathered to get on the bus at the end of the day our hands were full with shopping bags of clothes, shoes, books, candy and souvenirs.On the bus, we joined together in singing all our favorite songs. For dinner we stopped at a lovely park and had a pizza picnic before finally heading back home to SAIT.[AFG_gallery id='813']
