Thumping Snowshoe Hares - July 15, 2017 - Tent Games and T-shirts

The day started with optional soccer or basketball for early-risers, and then a late breakfast to start off the day. Our lessons were packed with camp vocabulary to get us ready for the upcoming week. After our lunch, we learned who we will be staying in tents with.In our tent groups, we made t-shirts, posters, songs and dances to represent our animal group name. Once those were made, we competed in our 20th annual Tent Games extravaganza! The beavers, cougars and hummingbirds came in first, second and third. Then it was time to present our songs and dances to our friends and to the judge. The winners got their prize for their awesome poster and creative songs. The night ended with learning how to set up our tents and making sure they were in order to go camping.[AFG_gallery id='615']
