Today the Raccoons headed to the badlands of Alberta in search of adventure and dinosaur fossils. The first stop on our journey was Horseshoe Canyon, where we hiked all the way down to the bottom before heading all the way back up to top of a hoodoo to check out the view. After our hike, we headed to the Royal Tyrell Museum, home to the largest collection of fossils in Canada. We learned about how life on earth has evolved over the past three billion years, and of course took a few selfies with the museum's famous t-rex.Then we headed to the shore of the Red Deer river for a classic Canadian BBQ dinner of cheeseburgers and hot dogs. We cooled off with a dip in the river and played frisbee along the bank, before hopping back on the bus and heading home to Calgary.[AFG_gallery id='734']
