Whispering Northern Racoons - August 4th, 2017 - The Great Calgary Race!

What a great day for our Racoons! We started the day in our breakfast rooms where we cooked up some delicious food. Then, it was time for lessons. Our lessons consisted of all sorts of fun activities to reinforce our English vocabulary and pronunciation. Time flew by and soon it was time for a delicious lunch in Happy Hut of chicken, rice and veggies. Yum!In the afternoon, we headed downtown for the...GREAT CALGARIAN RACE! We broke up into teams and went head to head in an intense scavenger hunt where we had to become familiar with the city and ask Calgarians for help! In the end, we had a blast getting to know our host city.The evening concluded with a finger-licking good dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory. We had lots of garlic bread spaghetti and spumoni ice cream! When we returned to SAIT everybody was ready for bed.
