Wynchemna Teachers - 31 July 2017 - Carlos Plays!!!

Though everyday the activities excite the teachers to join the activities, today Carlos - me - had his day off, and he decided it was a day for play.After running into teacher Kathleen, preparing for cleaning and packing for camping, and Sam, caffeinating for her exciting Calgarian line-dancing lesson, I ran off to play basketball in Rosedale. Relaxing but rewarding, as all us Wynchemna teachers need to stay healthy and fit! Basketball invented by Dr. James Naismith, a Canadian, sure does keep us active. We're not all hockey people.Then later a dinner at one of Calgary's finest, Una Pizza, fed me and other teachers, Eddie and Justine. Sometimes you just have to put a napkin on your lap. Every meal is great at Wynchemna, but we don't always have the time to enjoy them with so many wonderful activities.The C-train provided a calm ride home. The ride up the tenth street hill gave a beautiful view of the sunset, that'll sure give me great dreams. Tomorrow we'd like to be rested and ready for tomorrow![AFG_gallery id='687']
