Whispering Northern Raccoons - July 30th, 2017 - Slip and Slides!

First day of lessons for these Raccoons! The students were up bright eyed and bushy tailed ready to start their day off with some learning. They created lots of new things in their classes and shared all their ideas with each other. A great start to the day here at Wynchemna. We didn't just stop there though, we had an exciting day to head out to!After lessons we were ready for some ice skating! For many of us it was our first time, but that wasn't a problem. We all helped each other learn to skate sharing tips and advice. There was a few spills during our learning curve, but we popped back up every time ready to try again! Now I don't want to brag but we were all super stars by the end, making our way around the ice rink with ease. We were pretty tired after all that work from lessons in the morning and ice skating so we definitely needed a break for some lunch! We introduced our students to a Canadian classic, Tim Hortons!!! It was a hit, everyone enjoying their delicious sandwiches, and of course LOTS of timbits were eaten and shared.We enjoyed some time in the sun as we gobbled up our lunches ready for our next activity, the waterpark! We enjoyed the wave pool, water slides and even swung across the pool on a big ball! It was exciting and so much fun for everyone. Near the end many of us took a break in the hot tub enjoying the hot water and jets to help us relax before heading back home. Our day wasn't over yet though! We still had to work on our movie script. Remember us hinting about that a couple days ago? Well the script is ready and the characters have been casted! Tomorrow is our big rehearsal before heading to our filming studio (the location still can't be disclosed). We can't wait for you all to find out what our story is about!When our movie meeting got out we all headed to Swiss Chalet for a hearty meal to end off our day.
