Barbie and Barbecue Wings!

Today was an eventful day!

We started off the morning with 3 lessons! Students learned about stereotypes, dating etiquette, and inventions.

After successfully completing lessons, the crew took the train to the cinema to watch the comedy/drama Barbie: a film currently ranked #1 at the Canadian Box Office! Many students chose to wear pink in order to celebrate the occasion. Although some thought it was going to be a kids movie, everyone was surprised at the jokes, themes, and overall experience!

Afterwards, students got to eat dinner at Boston Pizza, a popular North American restaurant chain. Here students were able to sample many different kinds of pizza and chicken wings. Some experimented with some spicy sauce and paid the price.

Upon returning to SAIT, we started the finishing touches in order to prepare for some very special visitors: New students arriving today and tomorrow. Students look forward to newcomers joining tonight and we look forward to tomorrow’s adventure!
