Calgary Stampede

Today we took on the Calgary Stampede! We started with an early breakfast which fuelled us for a long day of fun at the stampede. After breakfast we got on the bus and practiced our country singing as we made our way through Calgary. Once arriving at the stamped we explored the area in our breakfasts groups until lunch. During this time we saw a motocross, horses, cows, and we even had time to get on some rides. At noon we took a break for a picnic lunch. The students spent the rest of the day exploring the stampede in their own groups. When we came back together at the end of the day the students all had smiles on their faces. They were talking about the rides and food that they ate. One of the students really liked the spinning rides. It was nice to hear all the students excited about their day. Once all the students arrived at our meeting place we headed back to SAIT on the train where there was a lasagna dinner waiting for us. After dinner we had a group meeting and a birthday celebration.
