Laundry and Tent Games
Today the students started out the day with a very quick and easy breakfast. As the number of clean clothes starts to run low the students have started to get desperate. Luckily they were able to get organized and get their clothes cleaned.
The lessons included interesting topics on museum exhibits, interview questions, police interrogations and alibis, as well as topics about whether children make you happy. The students also enjoyed a nice meal at the SAIT cafeteria for lunch. This included Ruben sandwiches and ravioli.
In the afternoon, the students enjoyed Tent Games Day. They started off by getting into their tent groups, designing their own t-shirts, creating a song based on their group names as well as a poster and dance to go along with it. We had six groups including the Stoats, Crocodiles, Foxes, Wolves, Bosharks, and the Canadian Monkeys. All their presentations were wonderful, however there could only be one winner and that was the Canadian Monkeys.
After a pizza dinner, the kids continued the night with games which were played outside. They also learned how to build a tent and pack it away while working in their teams. Afterwards, our tent groups competed in a series of intense games including hungry hippo, tug of war, sponge race, and dizzy bat. The stoats came out on top!
