Enormous Edmonton Mall and Wild Waterpark Fun!
Happy Friday from Calgary, Alberta! Today was another amazing day! After a restful sleep, the Bobcats awoke early and joined their breakfast groups for a healthy breakfast before loading onto the bus. The Bobcats had a big journey ahead of them as they took on a 3 hour road trip to one of Alberta’s famous attractions; West Edmonton Mall! Our students were so excited to explore the largest mall in Canada where they had hours of shopping and some water park fun! They were eager to get into the bus where they laughed, shared stories, played games, and enjoyed a variety of snacks. Upon arrival, students enjoyed a scrumptious flame-grilled hamburger, chicken burger or veggie burger along with fries from Canada’s very own Harvey’s. From here, the students chose their activities for the afternoon. Some explored shopping boutiques such as footlocker, Roots, Build-a-Bear, Jack & Jones, Urban Outfitters and Urban Planet, while other students enjoyed their time in the amazing indoor waterpark. Some students also explored the many extra exhibits within the mall inlcuding mini golf, go-karting, sea lion shows, mini golf, and the amusement park. The Bobcats had such an enjoyable time at the West Edmonton Mall and concluded their evening with a delightful meal at Oriental Dim Sum Chinese food restaurant. We are looking forward to another eventful day tomorrow!
