Fantastic Friday - Frisbee, Football and Casino Night!

We have come to the end of another exciting day at Wynchemna. In our lessons, we wrote articles about our partners adventures, we used our imagine to consider our “What if” world; we created four truths and four lies poetry! After lessons and lunch, we worked off our meals in some very competitive games of Canadian football and ultimate frisbee. We learned how to throw a pass in both games and all of the different rules and positions in both games. When we came back to SAIT, we ate a dinner of fresh cooked lasgana, garlic bread and Caesar salad. We finished our night with a Casino themed event in the Tower. We tested our luck on a variety of games such as spoons, uno, crazy eights, bingo, and other exciting card games. Students used math and strategy in each games to win Wynchemna bucks that they could spend on Canadian Delicacies such as Smarties, Kitkat, and Mug Pop. Afterwards, we pooled our Wynchemna bucks together with our new friends to bid on luxury prize items at the Bobcat auction house. Some of the prizes include: rare sporting equipment, designer sport cars, and essential fashion pieces. What a night! We cannot wait to share our cultural foods with everyone tomorrow at our International supper!
