Galloping Horses Take On Stampede

We started off this morning with an early visit to a Stampede breakfast where we mingled with Calgarians and asked them what is their favourite part of Stampede. We learned all about the rodeo, fireworks, and the markets. We then hopped on the train and headed off to the Stampede grounds. We raced to the ticket booths to get our ride bracelets and ran off to whirl, twirl and hopefully not hurl. We saw some backflipping bikes and the pyrotechniques were the bomb.
For lunch, we had a Canadian specialty of Tim Hortons.
Next was the Super Dog Bowl show! We watched the show dogs do flips, catch a frisbee, and jump 28inches into a pit of balls. The rain didn’t stop us from enjoying even more crazy rides to end our Stampede fun.
We took the train to supper and then back to SAIT to end our incredible day and get ready for our lessons and adventures tomorrow!!
