Camping Preparation with the Herons!

Sunday’s breakfast of golden omelettes and crunchy, warm toast fuelled the students for three great English lessons! After devouring delicious chicken shawarmas for lunch, the Herons were sorted into their camping tent groups for the big camping trip coming up in a few days. They created custom t-shirts for their respective animals (Falcons, Otters, Bears, Elk, Orcas, and Geese) and a funny song/ dance that they performed for the class! They also braved the brisk Calgarian weather and learned how to properly set up and take down their brand new eight-person tents, a tall task that was capped off with scrumptious pizza for dinner. The evening ended with some time practicing for the Wynchemna’s Got Talent and a movie. What an awesome day!
