June 28-Soccer & Bowling
On Friday, the day started off strong with some ice breaker games after a big breakfast, where students had the chance to introduce themselves to other students from all over the world. After some fun, students took the English placement test to create levelled learning groups. Lunch was then served in the SAIT cafeteria, featuring a variety of different cuisines. After fuelling up, it was time for soccer! Before a few friendly matches began, skills were practiced and perfected, such as footwork, passing drills, and shooting on net. A few future soccer stars were born!! Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, we took a field trip to the bowling alley, where we had lots of fun under the cool disco lights. After, we ventured to the mall to eat some Chinese food and to do some shopping! But the day wasn’t over yet! Upon arriving back to the SAIT campus, a super fun scavenger hunt began, which directed students along with the teachers to different floors of the building and campus, to arrive at a special treasure that was hidden!
