Last Day Shennanigans!

We started off the day by cleaning up our breakfast rooms and packing up our bags in preparation for departure tomorrow. Students then put their creativity to work as they prepared outfits made out of newspaper for our fashion show! Some good laughs were shared during the runway. We then headed over to Carls Jr. for lunch. Afterwards, students wrote letters for each other which will be given to them at the airport. The students wrote plenty of kind words, inside jokes, and best wishes! For our final meal together, students ate a delicious steak with a side of fries and salad at Boston Pizza! We then sat back as we watched a compilation of memories that were made over the month here at Wynchemna. Many laughs and “Aws” were shared over the slideshow. Each student also received a special personalized award highlighting their achievements over the summer. Students finished up the night with a party where their best dance moves were shown off. The memories of the incredible times we experienced at Wynchemna will forever be cherished, and the bonds we forged with the friends we met here will remain everlasting. It is a bittersweet goodbye but the teachers had an AMAZING time with all the Junior students!
