Loose Moose, Rock Climbing and so Much More!
Today was a blast and we met many new friends! We started the day with a hearty breakfast consisting of eggs, yogurt, fruit and more. The first activity of the day was human bingo. So we went outside with our full class of campers and learned lots of new things about each other. Each student had to find other students that matched statements on their bingo cards and try and complete the whole page! After filling bingo cards full with classmates’ names, winners were awarded with some of our favourite Canadian chocolate bars!
Arriving back inside for our first lesson of the day students attended various engaging classes with work such as vocabulary, storytelling, history and more. Taking a break for lunch, students enjoyed beef and vegetable stir fry, featuring a yummy s’mores dessert! This meal fuelled us for both an immersive improv show and indoor rock climbing! Students had tons of fun and laughs with the improv director from Loose Moose, where they were encouraged to get out of their comfort zone and be creative in various ways. While rock climbing, students’ bravery and strength was put on display as they overcame fears while climbing to new heights!
After a big day of activities, beef curry was served for dinner, which transitioned into more lessons in the evening.
What a great day to be at Wynchemna!
