The Great Wynchemna Talent Show!
We had a solid day here at Wynchemna. We started off our day with a delicious breakfast that started a bit later today. Students have been having awesome adventures and needed some extra sleep for the plans we had today! Breakfast consisted of bananas, apples, waffles, cereal, and eggs. Following this, we washed and dried our clothes in preparation for our camping trip tomorrow. Next, we had some interactive and dynamic lessons. One of our lessons was “Hot Seat”, where students answered rapid-fired questions from peers about themselves. Another lesson was “Spyfall”, where all students had been given a location, except one, and students try to deduct who doesn’t know where they are.
After some heated classes, we left for lunch at SAIT, which served stuffed pork loin, chicken supreme, and meatballs in tomato sauce. After, we jumped into cleaning time! Students cleaned their rooms in preparation of our trip and organized what their next week looks like as activities ramps up. It was awesome to clean our spaces and campers look forward to life in nature. Conversations continued as we had Vietnamese food. We feasted on beef sauté, shrimp, and lemongrass chicken.
After feeling up, we launched into our Wynchemna Talent Show! Campers had prepared some awesome presentations of skills and abilities. Some highlights that are included are many dances, juggling, and singing! We are so proud of our campers teaming up and sharing what talents they have. We wrapped up our show and headed to bed with a giant adventure tomorrow! We can’t wait to head on into the wilderness and set up our tents! We will post our camping blog once we come back! See you soon!
